WHICH SHALL IT BE

We should ask ourselves seriously,
For whom do we want our church to be?
For Jes’ us, comfortable in our pews?
Or Jesus, busy spreading the Good News?
For Jes’ us, basking in a country club atmosphere?
Or Jesus, finding no sacrifice too severe?
For Jes’ us, desiring sermons that put us at ease?
Or Jesus, hungering for truths that drive us to our knees?
For Jes’ us, with hymns limited to our favorite few?
Or Jesus, praising Him with songs old and new?
For Jes’ us, we of the same color skin?
Or Jesus, who shed his blood for all men?
Jes’ us or Jesus, which shall it be?
Our choice decides our eternity.
