We should ask ourselves seriously,
For whom do we want our church to be?
For Jesí us, comfortable in our pews?
Or Jesus, busy spreading the Good News?
For Jesí us, basking in a country club atmosphere?
Or Jesus, finding no sacrifice too severe?
For Jesí us, desiring sermons that put us at ease?
Or Jesus, hungering for truths that drive us to our knees?
For Jesí us, with hymns limited to our favorite few?
Or Jesus, praising Him with songs old and new?
For Jesí us, we of the same color skin?
Or Jesus, who shed his blood for all men?
Jesí us or Jesus, which shall it be?
Our choice decides our eternity.
