This may sound to some absurd:
ĎBelieveí is an action word,
Not something thatís only spurred
Now and then when hearts are stirred
By some inspiring sermon we have heard.
Itís no word stored in our head,
Revealed only in things said;
Mere words canít go in Christís stead;
By them, the hungry arenít fed;
Words alone canít ease the afflicteds' bed.

In its fullest meaning true,
ĎBelieveí means to go and do
And relentlessly pursue
Proclaiming the whole world through
The One who gives life anew.
