Wealthy Ann Hurst was a daughter of James J (I think he was called either Jim or Jack) and Lieuraney Greek Hodges. He was born in 1847 in Ware County, Ga. (that part now Charlton) and was a son of William Riley and Nancy Leigh Hodges. He died in 1933 and was buried in Swift Creek Cemetery.
His wife Lieuraney (sometimes spelled Lauraney and Lavinia or Laviney) was born in 1846 and died in 1930. Her parents were Elizah and Cassandra Greek. Elizah W. Greek was born in 1810 in Pennsylvania and his wife Cassandra was born in 1807 in Ga.
Wealthy Ann was a funny lady always ready with a quick line and she always smiled and laughed. She spent lots of her old age time either sitting on her porch in good weather or by her fire in bad in downtown Glen (St. Mary, Fla.) with a kerchief tied about her head.
Buried in Swift Creek Mt. Zion Cemetery, Union County, Fla.
