John Crew's widow Annabelle, was his second or third wife. When he married
her, she was the widow of Richard Harvey. After John Crew died, she married
the widower Richard Bracy, who had a daughter by a previous marriage named
Sarah, who appears to have been married for a while to the aforesaid John
Walls. John donated money to the building of the church in Indian River
Hundred in 1734, but by 1739, John is likely dead and Sarah is remarried to
Wrixam Christopher. Anyway, if Jacob Walls was the son of John and Sarah
Bracy Walls, that would neatly explain him naming a son Jacob Bracy Walls
after his mother.

John Walls, married Sarah Bracy. He died before 1739 when widow Sarah married Wrixam Christopher. Jacob Walls is likely his son; Robert Walls (after R. Hignet) is probably his son, but could be the youngest son of William and Elizabeth Crew Walls.

John Walls was dead before 1739 when his wife was mentioned in her father's last will as the wife of Wrixam Christopher. In an earlier will of her father (Richard Bracy) he named her as Sarah Walls. The Jacob Walls found in Sussex County during the 1750's and 1760's named a son Jacob Bracy Walls, suggesting strongly that he was a son of the aforesaid John.
