Individual Note: Funeral Services for Mamie Fouraker Braddock “Nanny” (94) of Bryceville, Florida will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 2, 2009 at Brandy Branch Baptist Church (1906 Brandy Branch Church Place, Bryceville, Florida 32009) with Rev. Rusty Bryan officiating. The interment will immediately follow in Brandy Branch Cemetery, Bryceville, Florida. Mrs. Braddock was born in Bryceville, Florida on November 24, 1914, daughter of the late David Fouraker and the former Gertrude Stafford. She passed away in Wells Nursing Home, MacClenny, Florida, following a lengthy illness. “Nanny” was a lifelong member of Brandy Branch Baptist Church. She is survived by: Daughter, Eleanor Travis; Two Sons, Roy (Pat) Braddock and Dwight (Joan) Braddock; Three Grandsons, Ricky (Sherri) Travis, Bruce (Susan) Travis and Randy (June) Braddock; Five Granddaughters, Norma (Rodney) Owens, Lynn Crawford, Royalyne (Bud) Daniels, Donna (David) Coleman and Alysia (Vance) Prestwood; Eight Great Granddaughters, Brooke Travis, Natalie Travis, Stephanie (Dustin) Brantley, Breanna Owens, Taylor Warren, Allison Coleman, Faith Braddock and Isabelle Prestwood; Ten Great Grandsons, Colton Travis, Christopher Travis, Eric Hartin, Joseph Owens, Brandon Rowe, Caleb Rowe, Jordan Warren, Jonathan Coleman, Trenton Braddock and Logan Prestwood; Sister, Willow Mae Kast; Two Sister-In-Laws, JoAnne Fouraker and Ola Woodard; Numerous Nieces, Nephews and Church Family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Harry Bryant Braddock and son-in-law, Dick Travis. Serving as pallbearers include grandsons: Ricky Travis, Bruce Travis, Rodney Owens, David Coleman, Bud Daniels, Randy Braddock and Vance Prestwood. The great grandsons are serving as honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at Prestwood Funeral Home.

Individual Note: THOMAS - Rudolph Thomas, died October 16, 2000. He was a resident of Duval County and was the retired owner of Thomas Lumber Company. He was a Deacon at Murray Hill Baptist Church, had been past president of the Duval County Gospel Sing Association and a member of the Masonic Lodge. He is survived by his wife, Velma Braddock Thomas; 2 daughters, Bobbi Blanton & Shirley Gray (husband, John); 5 grandchildren, Dee Renee, Reese, Jacob, Jean Nicole, & Dena; 5 great-grand children; a brother, Riley Thomas and 2 sisters, Myrtis Williams & Esther Fletcher. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Friday in Murray Hill Baptist Church with interment to follow in Brandy Branch Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 AM until service time Friday at the church. Pallbearers will be members of his Sunday School Class and Honorary Pallbearers will be the Deacons.

STAFFORD - Forney Braddock Stafford, age 87, of LaBelle, Florida, died on March 11, 2001 at Fort Myers, Florida. He was born March 30, 1913 at Willie Georgia to William Eastwood Stafford and Christine Jane Braddock Stafford. Forney had resided in LaBelle since 1979 and is a former resident of Jacksonville and Miami. He was a member and past secretary of Jacksonville Lodge 23 F & A.M., and a member of the Mahj Shrine, Rotary Club and Kiwanis Club, all in Miami. Forney was a veteran of the U. S. Navy, serving in WWII. Survivors include his nephews, David Hilton of Kitty Hawk, NC; niece, Sue Kathleen Kenneally, Hilton; grandnephews, David Michael Hilton, and Patrick Hilton ; grandniece, Michele Hilton and good friends, Bill and Pat Williams of La Belle. Graveside funeral services will be held TODAY, Tuesday, March 13, 2001, 2:00 PM at Jones Cemetery in Callahan with Reverend Herb Phinazee officiating. Arrangements by AkinDavis funeral Home, Labelle, Florida.

This was in the TU this morning. I don't know if anyone else sends these to you. I have here as the daughter of Adolphus L. and Mary A. "Annie" Johnson Braddock.

BAACKE - Annie Mae Braddock Baacke, 91, died Saturday, April 21, 2001. Born September 9, 1909 in Callahan, Florida she had lived most of her life in Jacksonville. Mrs. Baacke was a charter member of St. James Lutheran Church in Riverview. She was a member of Khem Temple #85 Daughters of the Nile, life member of the Oakwood Garden Circle and honorary Life Member of the Florida Sheriffs Association. She was predeceased by her husband, Rudy Baacke. Survivors include one daughter, Virginia Baacke Rogers; two granddaughters, Kathleen Conklin and Jeanne Limbaugh; two greatgrandchildren, Benjamin and Adrianne; one brother, Laurie A. Braddock and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 25, in the chapel of COREYKERLIN FUNERAL HOME, 1426 Rowe Avenue, with Rev. Bernie Jorm officiating. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8PM Tuesday at the Funeral Home.
